Scientists in the US are working on a new anti-aging solution which combines two powerful ingredients, in a bid to create a cream that can increase the skin's ability to rejuvenate.

A team of researchers from Denver are investigating a product which is a formulation of Protandim and LP Derma Complex.

Protandim has been proven to slow down the rate of aging, while LP Derma Complex is capable of reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

The researchers are hoping that the results of the "super-antioxidant" study will show that "the fountain of youth is on the horizon".

The study will make use of a digital imaging assessment system to assess the effects of the new combi-solution. Participants' skin will be analyzed with researchers looking for signs of improvement in elements such as fine lines, the size of pores, texture and age spots.

David Brown, chief executive of LifeVantage, the maker of Protandim, said: "We believe the study will show that this exciting new anti-aging formula is a breakthrough system that provides the skin with greater hydration, better penetration, increased production of antioxidant enzymes and a protective shield to slow down the aging effects from the environment."

Mr Brown went on to say that the results of the research will be made available later in the year.ADNFCR-1506-ID-18657286-ADNFCR
