Christopher J. Centeno, MD

Dr. Centeno is an international expert and specialist in interventional pain management. He is board certified both in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management. Dr. Centeno practices interventional pain management in Denver and the Boulder, Colorado area but his clinic also attracts those from across the US and overseas. His research interests include traumatic spinal injury and he has published numerous peer reviewed research studies and articles. Dr. Centeno has also published on the use of autologous mesenchymal stem cells for musculoskeletal tissue repair. He is medical director of Regenerative Sciences, a company focused on improving the technology behind the use of adult stem cells in musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Centeno is also the founder and medical director of the Spinal Injury Foundation, an organization dedicated to research, education, and advocacy for those with chronic spinal injuries. He has also served as Editor-in-Chief of a a peer reviewed medical journal and is the author of the medical text, "The Spine Dictionary". Centeno trained at the Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Medical Center, and the Institute for Rehabilitation Research.

At the upcoming 17th World Congress on Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine in San Jose, California (September 10-12, 2009), Dr. Centeno will present, A4M World Stem Cell Clinical Summit, on Saturday, September 12th, 2009.
