The American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine makes information on the status of physicians as Diplomates and Certified available to medical professionals and the general public in two ways:

1. The complete listing of "Diplomate" and "Certified" physicians is presented in the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine's annual Anti-Aging Physicians Directory and Resource Guide. This publication is made available to members and non-members of A4M. Patients requesting physician referrals from A4M may be directed to physicians based on this information.

2. Physicians with ABAARM certification may also be listed on the Physician/Practitioner and/or Clinic Directory(ies) at The World Health Network, www.worldhealth.net (the official website of the A4M). This is a paid advertisement listing.

ABAARM Certification is valuable to a physician's professional credentials. Part II (Oral Exam) is an important determinant of proficiency as it includes a chart review process. By becoming Certified, the physician demonstrates he/she is capable of providing safe and efficacious diagnostic evaluations and treatment protocols.

Any physician who is using the credential "Diplomate" or "Certified" by ABAARM erroneously or falsely that is brought to the attention of the ABAARM Ethics Committee and shall be issued a notification letter to cease until such time as he/she has passed the examination section as appropriate to the credential. Said notice may remain as a permanent part of the individual's academic credentials file if so deemed appropriate by the ABAARM Ethics Committee.
