Mission Statement, A4M CME Unit
It is the goal of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine continuing Medical Education Unit to provide ongoing medical education through lectures, seminars, medical conferences, publications and web-based educational programs for a wide scope of medical specialists, healthcare professionals, physicians, and additionally allied healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, medical researchers, medical technicians, chiropractors, physician's assistants and nursing assistants, educational material which is based upon current scientific research in the treatment of aging-related diseases. It is our objective to encourage a new focus in the practice of medicine that is not necessarily centered on the treatment of disease but rather pays greater attention to the prevention of the degenerative processes that lead to premature aging and ultimately disease and death.
It is further the mission of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine that participants in our continuing medical education programs will leave with a greater understanding and appreciation of breaking scientific developments and clinical innovations relative to the filed of clinical medicine, specific to the new practice of anti-aging medicine, and with and increased awareness that the degenerative processes experienced as cellular aging are indeed treatable, often preventable and sometimes reversible conditions.
