MitoQ (MitoQuinone)-- Reverses Hardening of Arteries

By cmeletis at Nov. 3, 2018, 2:41 a.m., 25840 hits

Fall 2017 research paper using mice model showed that MitoQ can actually reverse hardening of arteries.

“Our results demonstrating that MitoQ reverses in vivo aortic stiffness in old mice suggest that mitochondria-targeted antioxidants may represent a novel, promising therapeutic strategy for reducing aortic stiffness with primary aging and, possibly, age-related clinical disorders in humans. The de-stiffening effects of MitoQ treatment may be at least partially mediated by attenuation/reversal of age-related aortic elastin degradation.”

Here is a link to the article abstract– take a look at the impressive findings.
