Testosterone shows a powerful effect on the immune system. Studies show that people deficient in testosterone tend to store more body fat and burn fewer calories. It can also affect your sex drive and sports performance abilities. Often, my clients show remarkable increases in testosterone without the use of drugs or steroids. This is due to several herbal remedies contained in supplements.
Key Supplementation Ingredients
Oat Sprout or Avena Sativa is an extract from wild oats and straw commonly taken as a natural aphrodisiac. It is believed to free up testosterone in both men and women. Restoring a healthy libido is one commonly reported side effect. Though Oat Sprout does not create more testosterone in the body, it’s believed to free some that is in a bound state. When testosterone is freed from its binding receptors, nature takes it course by stimulating sexual interest in both men and women.
Organic Cabbage is rich in phytochemicals including DIM AND i3c which increase proper estrogen metabolism, indirectly boosting Testosterone.
Eurycoma longifolia is a small evergreen tree with flowers and fruit, which is dark red when ripe. The British Journal of Sports Medicine published the results of a scientific study in 2003, which showed that it increased muscle strength and size compared to a placebo, which suggests anabolic properties.
Velvet Antler is uncommon to the West but considered an integral part of traditional Chinese medicine. Velvet antler is typically dried and used powdered or in tea form for a variety of health purposes: anti-inflammatory, immune stimulant, and pro-growth agent. A Canadian study found higher testosterone levels after taking velvet antler supplements for several weeks.
Nettle Leaf Powder is native to Europe, North Africa, Asia, and North America. Most species have stinging hairs, and have similar medicinal uses. The stinging hairs of most nettle species contain formic acid, serotonin and histamine. Extracts of the nettle are used by bodybuilders in an effort to increase free testosterone by occupying sex hormone binding globulin.
Research shows that pumpkin seeds are great libido boosters. Pumpkin seeds are high in zinc, which is important for preventing testosterone deficiency in men. As men age, zinc declines in their bodies. This can lead to prostate enlargement, as well as other male sexual health problems, including impotency. Prostate tissues are dependent on zinc.

Tblend;98669: The use of DIM and Ic3, D-Glucolactone with wasabi can restore both 2-hydroxyestradiol and 2-hydroxyestrone which are methylated during their metabolism by the body. Interestingly, 2-methoxyestradiol (2-MeOE2) has a significantly higher affinity for Sex Hormone Binding Globulin than do estradiol and even testosterone (1). This is significant in that 2-MeOE2, by virtue of its higher affinity for SHBG than testosterone, can displace testosterone from SHBG, possibly enlarging the fraction of free, or bioactive testosterone.
1) Avvakumov GV, Grishkovskaya I, Muller YA, Hammond GL. Crystal structure of human sex hormone-binding globulin in complex with 2-methoxyestradiol reveals the molecular basis for high affinity interactions with C-2 derivatives of estradiol. J Biol Chem. 2002 Nov 22;277(47):45219-25 I have used Avena Sativa, nettles, tribulus with Long Jack herbs to observe a significant increase in free Testosterone within less than 3 weeks (unpublished studies). I trust others will soon confirm my finds. I believe the combination with DIM with a highly absorbable delivery system will give a desired effect. It is of interest to combine Testosterone therapy (pellet, injectable, or cream) with this potent herbal therapy to secure better benefits without side effects that may come from testosterone replacement alone. Intense exercise in sessions of less than 45 minutes, may increase T, yet by itself, exercise in excess in the case of overtraining, can decrease levels. Supplements and replacement therapy is highly advisable. |
