Magnetic particles may offer a radical improvent in heart stent technology.  This next generation of heart stents may replace the current technology, which depends on a process whereby endothelial cells coat stents and blood vessels heal, a process that typically takes weeks.  Magnetic stents appear to accelerate the process of healing after a stent is placed.
