Is There A Link Between GMOs And WiFi Technology?

6 out of 10 American adults suffer from some form of chronic disease, experts note the prevalence of chronic disease has been steadily increasing over the last 3 decades. But could this increase be associated with GMO foods and use of wireless technology, and if so could they somehow be linked?

Western society appears to be experiencing an epidemic of chronic disease, which coincides with increased use of agrochemicals and wireless industry products which scientific evidence supports.

Environmental Research published a study showcasing the connection between radiofrequency radiation and chronic disease. In the study Dr. Martin L. Pall describes a calcium channel in cells opening erroneously when the our internal electrical environment is disrupted by wireless signals from cell phones and WiFi; the opening can cause too much calcium to enter cells resulting in production of peroxynitrite compounds.

This compound can also be formed when nitric oxide interacts with other free radicals. While nitric oxide is a natural vasodilator under certain circumstances it can react with other free radicals to cause serious health problems.

Studies have shown cell phone and wireless radiation can cause an increase in nitric oxide which leads to over production of peroxynitrite which puts the body at real risk for chronic disease; constant exposure to microwave radiation through use of WiFi, cell phones, and other mobile devices sets the stage for many chronic diseases that are rampant in the nation.

Dr. Pall is not the only scientist to warn of the threat from increased peroxynitrite caused by WiFi and wireless devices. Physiological Reviews has published a study in which the authors warn of this compound leading to cell death and apoptosis thereby triggering acute and chronic disease, which maintains peroxynitrite causes harm in a variety of ways including altering function of proteins, disrupting mitochondrial function, stimulating production of inflammatory chemical such as interleukin, and degrading membrane structure.

Peroxynitrite has been linked with cardiac dysfunction as well as neurodegenerative conditions such as diabetes, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, Alzheimer’s disease, and atherosclerosis. The compound is also associated with cancer, periodontal disease, asthma, stroke, IBS, and multiple sclerosis.

23 controlled studies and 16 reviews were analyzed that identified a variety of serious and harmful effects from exposure to WiFi and other electromagnetic fields which included oxidative stress, impact on cell DNA, calcium overload, neuropsychiatric effects, and reproductive problems in men stemming from decreased testosterone. Along with discovery of the lower sperm count effect on fertility the review also shed light on specific properties of harms from radiation.

Such electromagnetic fields/frequencies affect young people disproportionately due to their still developing bodies and that wireless pulsed EMFs are more active than non-pulsed, especially smart meters. These effects may be not only cumulative but also they may be irreversible according to the scientists.

Use of glyphosate has increased 15 fold since pesticides and GMOs were introduced, these GMOs have been engineered to withstand being sprayed with the chemical which has been labeled as a “probable carcinogen” by W.H.O’s International Agency for Research on Cancer.

Glyphosate has been linked to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and currently the chemical has over 600 lawsuits awaiting their day in court which all are alleging that Roundup has caused their disease and it manufacturer, Monsanto, failed to sufficiently warn consumers of the risk.

Which brings us to the connection between WiFi and GMO foods: eating these foods causes increased exposure to glyphosate which triggers the body to produce peroxynitrite according to Diane Testa, Ph.D., at Western New England University, who acknowledges that Dr. Pall has implicated glyphosate in a series of chronic diseases.

Within the USA alone 1.8 million pounds of glyphosate has been applied to crops since 1974, and the increasing amount of usage of WiFi and mobile devices in homes, offices, stores, hospitals has lead researchers to warn that we should expect “massive cumulative effects in many people.”

This is a frightening thought, but there are measures we can do to limit our exposure and lower risk of harm such as avoiding GMOs and buying certified organic foods, and using our technology when it is wired rather than being wireless as much as possible. It would appears as if going organic and going back to wired devices as much as possible is more important than one might think.

According to Dr. Testa over half of the countries in the EU have banned GMO crops, and in 2011 the Council of Europe passed Resolution 1815 which requires taking measures to reduce exposure to wireless devices. More recently Brussels has become the first major city to refuse use of the untested 5G technology on it’s lands saying “The people of Brussels are not guinea pigs whose health I can sell at a profit”. Testa suggests the USA follows suit, and hopefully it won’t be too late.
