Pacemakers are medical devices implanted into a patient to help prevent a slow heartbeat. Each year, more than 250,000 Americans are diagnosed with too slow or too weak of a heart rhythm. These patients suffer dizzy spells, blackouts and fatigue. Up until now, all pacemakers have been analog. However, there is a new pacemaker that is digital.
