The number of people diagnosed with A.D.H.D is up more than 700 percent since the early 1990's. Dr. Todd Luellen is a Mobile psychiatrist. He said the most recent studies show up to eight percent of adolescents have A.

"When people have this problem, they can fluctuate between being able to concentrate on things they enjoy but maybe are having a great deal of difficulty in concentrating on things they're not interested in." Luellen said, "Stimulants are often the first line of treatment.
