The Future of Medicine is Here! - - the result of the Singularity University meeting where leading minds evaluated Global Grand Challenges.

Five hundred of the world’s best medical minds just met for 4 days in San Diego to collaborate on solutions to what Singularity University, the organization responsible for putting on the event, calls Global Grand Challenges.
Mulling over how to connect what they discussed with the approach I/we – IAAM – have been advocating, HERE COMES ONE OF MY FAVORITES – Dr. Hyla Cass, MD – - author of “The Addicted Brain, and How to Break Free,” with a fascinating report about this meeting of geniuses, published in THE HUFFINGTON POST:

Dr. Mark Hyman, Medical Director at Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine, and Chairman of the IFM, said that the premise of functional medicine is that diseases themselves do not exist. Rather they reflect a disturbance in the functional dynamic network, a continuum, and cross all body systems. All disease is disordered function—and the physician’s job is to uncover the imbalances and restore proper function. This is the kind of medicine many of us have practiced for years. It certainly works well, and follows the Hippocratic oath of “first do no harm.”

How similar this is to our approach - - that optimum health/antiaging is achieved via evaluating/correcting the anti-aging modalities (previously “health practices”)? See for yourself: .

Hah! And now we have THE explanation why we think alike: Myself, Daniel Kraft, Murray Susser (former ACAM president), all Air Force jet pilots; IT'S OBVIOUS: high up there, being closer to our maker, wisdom rubs off.

And – fitting right into our picture – a story about saving a small part of our world; IT WILL PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE, guaranteed:

PS: Exponential Medicine’s bold and fearless march into the future is led by Dr. Daniel Kraft, the chair of the event and the medical track at Singularity University. Daniel’s biography is one of a serious high-achiever: Harvard & Stanford-trained pediatrician, oncologist, fighter jet pilot (seriously), and innovation activist, among others.
