His Change of Life---Low Testosterone....Leads to Weaker Bones

By cmeletis at Feb. 20, 2012, 1:04 a.m., 15166 hits

One of the favorite books that I have authored, His Change of Life, really takes home the fact that testosterone is essential to overall health.

The research shows that low “T” leads to decreased bone strength as seen below. Sure, Vitamin D, Calcium, Boron, Strontium, Vitamin K2 are all musts for strong bones, but so is Testosterone.

Testosterone supplementation can also help reverse sarcopenia and osteoporosis.

Supplemental testosterone has been shown to increase bone mass of the lumbar spine in elderly men.

A 1995 showed testosterone given men aged 64-to-69 who had low testosterone levels caused a measurable increase in skeletal muscle protein synthesis and strength.
